Students are expected to complete all assignments and turned in by the due date. Late classwork will not be accepted unless the student was absent that day. It is the responsibility of the student to get all missed work if they were absent. The missed assignment will be due at the next class meeting. Late homework, presentations and projects will be deducted 20 points each day that the assignment is late. Any missed test will receive a grade of zero. Progress reports will be given to students every three weeks from the teacher. Students are responsible for giving progress reports to parents. Students with a failing grade or in danger of failing the grading period will receive a call home to the parents. I highly encourage parents to register and use Parent Portal to monitor students’ grades, missing assignments and other information. Students are expected to attempt to speak in Spanish while in class and a participation grade will be given.
